This just means you need a new email address (perhaps a new credit card) to take advantage of this offer but it’s quite good. Also, after you sign up, you can set it to never re-subscribe you after the trial period by going to your account, scrolling down to Subscriptions Management > Manage Your Amazon Prime Membership, and then clicking on the Do Not Upgrade button. This ensures that you won’t be renewed at $79 but still get the trial (who knows, you may fall in love with it, that’s what they’re banking on).
